Attempted Murder-Suicide Shooting Not News

Attempted Murder/Suicide
Perp Samurai Jack.

Once again Baton Rouge news media smokes the DW, BY THREE DAYS.

The shooting at Melville got real time coverage at both the Advocate and WAFB. Three days later the Daily World runs a story on it. Even the Hattisburg, Mississippi newspaper scooped them on this local story.

Stories about Major League Baseball teams over 1000 miles away are "Stop The Press!" items, however.

Crime News Not News

At least not to the Daily World.

WAFB in Baton Rouge ran this story about a woman beat to death by juviniles. The Daily World did not see is as news.

On Thursday the fourteenth a man was arrested for an August 10th stabbing. It was not seen fit to report this one until Monday the 18th.

Also KATC is the only ones reporting on the Brian Thomas scandal, which if we had a DA would result in a criminal investigation, as he is obviously living out of town and perpitrating a fraud on the people of Opelousas. It is also believed that other local elected officials may be doing the same.

While these stories are not news, the Daily World has been on top of stories on Zydeco, Goat Farming, and letters from Communist countries and damning us all to hell.

Forget Georgia, Comrade, Lets Screw Up Our Schools Instead

Once again we have been treated to enlightenment from beyond the Bamboo Curtain. No doubt celebrating the invasion of Georgia, our favorite communist has once again been given space to rant about how only he can fix the schools in America by eliminating all sports.

The Daily World neglects the views of teachers and parents, but will publish the same old wornout Marxist pap over and over so that us dumbass racist Cajuns can be enlightened by the views of Uncle Ho, Chariman Mao, and Pol Pot.

Not News Update

by Lois Lane
Special Feature Reporter

Three days after the fact, the first degree murder indictment of Dianna Bihm is reported in the Daily World. They did not bother to report the two counts of aggrivated rape for Kevin Durisseaux Bolden.

I learned years ago in Journalism 101 at Raliegh College that three days old news is not news.

St. Landry Grand Jury Indicts Two-Not News

by Clark Kent
Daily Planet City Reporter

Thursday, a St. Landry grand jury indicted two criminals. This was not considered news by the Daily World, however free school supplies for deadbeats and a bunch of overweight coaches was news.

Diana Bihm, 47, of Palmetto, was indicted for the first-degree murder of her 90-year-old husband, Claude Bihm. Kevin Durisseaux Bolden, 39, was indicted on two counts of aggravated rape.

First degree murder can get you the death penalty in most jursidictions but not in Opelousas where the DA doesn't believe in punishement. Durrisseaux could also get life in other jurisdictions. We are putting our bets on pleas from both defendants and time served. Plus a few warms hugs.
