Attempted Murder-Suicide Shooting Not News

Attempted Murder/Suicide
Perp Samurai Jack.

Once again Baton Rouge news media smokes the DW, BY THREE DAYS.

The shooting at Melville got real time coverage at both the Advocate and WAFB. Three days later the Daily World runs a story on it. Even the Hattisburg, Mississippi newspaper scooped them on this local story.

Stories about Major League Baseball teams over 1000 miles away are "Stop The Press!" items, however.

Crime News Not News

At least not to the Daily World.

WAFB in Baton Rouge ran this story about a woman beat to death by juviniles. The Daily World did not see is as news.

http://www.wafb.com/Global/story.asp?S=8869828&nav=0aWU

On Thursday the fourteenth a man was arrested for an August 10th stabbing. It was not seen fit to report this one until Monday the 18th.

http://www.dailyworld.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080818/NEWS01/808180306/1002/NEWS17

Also KATC is the only ones reporting on the Brian Thomas scandal, which if we had a DA would result in a criminal investigation, as he is obviously living out of town and perpitrating a fraud on the people of Opelousas. It is also believed that other local elected officials may be doing the same.

While these stories are not news, the Daily World has been on top of stories on Zydeco, Goat Farming, and letters from Communist countries and damning us all to hell.

Forget Georgia, Comrade, Lets Screw Up Our Schools Instead

Once again we have been treated to enlightenment from beyond the Bamboo Curtain. No doubt celebrating the invasion of Georgia, our favorite communist has once again been given space to rant about how only he can fix the schools in America by eliminating all sports.

The Daily World neglects the views of teachers and parents, but will publish the same old wornout Marxist pap over and over so that us dumbass racist Cajuns can be enlightened by the views of Uncle Ho, Chariman Mao, and Pol Pot.

Not News Update

by Lois Lane
Special Feature Reporter

Three days after the fact, the first degree murder indictment of Dianna Bihm is reported in the Daily World. They did not bother to report the two counts of aggrivated rape for Kevin Durisseaux Bolden.

I learned years ago in Journalism 101 at Raliegh College that three days old news is not news.

St. Landry Grand Jury Indicts Two-Not News

by Clark Kent
Daily Planet City Reporter

Thursday, a St. Landry grand jury indicted two criminals. This was not considered news by the Daily World, however free school supplies for deadbeats and a bunch of overweight coaches was news.

Diana Bihm, 47, of Palmetto, was indicted for the first-degree murder of her 90-year-old husband, Claude Bihm. Kevin Durisseaux Bolden, 39, was indicted on two counts of aggravated rape.

First degree murder can get you the death penalty in most jursidictions but not in Opelousas where the DA doesn't believe in punishement. Durrisseaux could also get life in other jurisdictions. We are putting our bets on pleas from both defendants and time served. Plus a few warms hugs.

Censorship Update

It has been confirmed. Sunny D is not longer at the Daily World, she is writng pap over at the Advertiser. While censorship has gone down, it seems PMS still has pull at the DW to get your post removed or account pulled. God knows what kind of delusions of power are running through that head.

Anyways, we are back from a business trip followed by a vacation and ready to take on those who won't tell the truth, those who would would shut down the voices of reason, and those who are stupid enough to believe that Hope and Change and redistribution of wealth are good for America.

We will also have a suprise writer joining our blog soon.

St. Landry Deputy Arrested-NOT NEWS

Thursday, a St. Landry Parish Deputy was arrested after being caught brining contraband into the jail. He was also arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, illegal carrying of weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia.

http://www.2theadvocate.com/news/20621349.html

Normally the Daily World never misses an opportunity to give law enforcement a black eye, but in this case, they didn't consider it news.

Boustany Officially a RINO

It is official. Congressman Charles Boustany was in Acadiana with Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals Secretary Alan Levin for the purpose of recruiting families with children to become members of Entitlement Nation. Instead of following the Republican tradition of self reliance and individualism, Boustany was incouraging them to become wards of the state dependent on tax dollars confiscated from hard working Louisiananians. Congressman Boustany, you are REPUBLICAN IN NAME ONLY and we hope that you will be back in Louisiana and a real Republican in your seat come next year.

Another Opelousas Shooting Not News to the Daily World

An Opelousas man has been shot and his shooter is at large.

Dorian Thomas was at intersection of Laurent and Academy when he was shot in the back.

Police believe Thomas knows who shot him because he was walking with someone and had just left a bar when the incident happened.

This story was not considered newsworthy to the Daily World. Another letter condemning everyone to hell that does not have the same beliefs of the writer was considered newsworthy.

Strother Martin judged obscene by Daily World

I heard from my friend The Last Jedi again this morning. Let him tell you.

"On the overcrowding at the OPD jail I made a comment that went something like this 'If the warden from Cool Hand Luke were in charge he wouldn't put up with the fire marshall.' This was judged improper or obscene and the post removed. In the same day some ranting fool with the writing skills of a preschooler put up probably twenty or more posts accusing Judge Boagni of being a drunk and babbling about STDs, how much education he had, and other nonsense. But a remark about a tough warden who was tough on criminals was removed."

The editor of the Daily World has been out of control and has let power go to her head for quite a while now. The destruction of the Daily World sports department is just one example. Now she intends to block any view which oppose her from the forums.

WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS A FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE.

Thank you Daily World

We have to give credit to the Daily World for restraint Wednesday. While all the other on-line newspapers were celebrating their love for Obama, the Daily World did not feature All Obama-All Day. John McCain made a major speech Wednesday in Baton Rouge that the paper there didn't even notice.

While I am sure there were a number of wet seats in the Daily World office, we applaud them not joining in the deification of this racist socialist.

Another Drive-By Shooting Not News

KATC reported another drive-by in Opelousas, this one involving our juvinile thugs.
http://www.katc.com/Global/story.asp?s=8414139

The Daily World felt it necessary to report it until a couple of days later (unless you call posts about it in the forum by the public reporting). Seems like Monday's news to everyone else is Wednesday's to the Daily World.

Daily World Declares War on First Amendment

I just got an email from my old friend The Last Jedi. Here is an exerpt.

"Last night I tried to post a comment comparing the attitudes of those supporting the three drug dealers to those in Baton Rouge who supported the guy who ordered the Olive Garden shootings. It was disallowed by the censor because I used the word "Thug" for someone who ordered an innocent young man killed in cold blood. I am not sure what to call him, virtuous citizen."

Ms. Domingue has no problem abusing her power. She cannot abide with someone who differs from her party line. It is not suprising that someone like this would be a part of the Gannett organization, which is to the left of the New York Times and has been on the hate America train as long as I can remember.

As long as they aren't obscene, anyone is allowed to comment on articles here EXCEPT Ms. Domingue. She was the reason I stopped posting at the Daily World site several months ago. As long as she is an enemy of the first amendment she is not welcome here.

And Jedi,
THUG THUG THUG THUG THUG THUG THUG THUG THUG

8:85 am Update

Jedi just emailed me and said that he is able to use the word thug at the sister Advertiser site. Even though they are even more to the left of the DW (for example, that Communist Handjob's Blog sets the tone there) they still allow discussion in the arena of ideas.

This Week's Golden Gun Awards

Golden Gun Winner Jeremy Dorn during his award winning performance.

Hundreds of luminaries from the Acadiana thug world decended on Opelousas Saturday night for the weekly awarding of the Golden Gun Awards. From factory fresh Esplanades to a '68 Impala with one headlight broken and no insurance and inspection sticker, these celebrity heroes were dropped off at the red carpet and cheered on by their Thug Support Systems as they went into the theater.

Last night's winners

For Incompetence in Carrying Out a Drive By Shooting
Kendal Pierre August, Christopher Jones, and Bradley Guillory

For Low Lifetime Achievement for Getting Stuck in an Air Conditioning Vent While Breaking into a Business
Robert Gallow

Best Car Chase of the Week
Jeremy Dorn

For Federal Drug Charges
Moses "Uggie" Davis Jr., Charles Brooks, and Gerald "Flint" Haynes

Following the awards event, the town was awash with celebrity parties and gangfights. Many smaller fights broke out among the public, fighting for invitations to the really hot parties/gangfights. The St. Landry Sheriff's Office and Opelousas Police Department report numerous arrests, but all were released on their own recognisance and promised time served by Judge Harris.

Tiger, Where Art Thou?

Where has Tiger gone. Have they kicked you off because you stood up to the left wing bullies? Please contact us, leave a comment here, it will be kept personal and not seen by anyone other than me.

Did the High Schools Have Sports Banquets?

Every May, the 10 high schools in St. Landry have sports banquets. Despite attempts from overseas to eliminate high school sports from St. Landry Parish schools and replace them with communist youth groups which will study the works of Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and Uncle Ho, high school sports are an important part of lives in St. Landry Parish.

I did not see a report on any banquet in the electronic Daily World. Not a single day of horse racing results was missed, however.

DRIVE BY SHOOTING NOT NEWS?

On Sunday, May 25th there was an altercation at the Delta Grand that resulted in a drive-by shooting in the city limits. The story was reported by KLFY (http://www.klfy.com/Global/story.asp?s=8383266). The Daily World did not feel the need to report on this story until Wednesday, May 28th.

In addition KLFY reported a story on a high speed chase in Opelousas that involved at least two OPD units being struck (http://www.klfy.com/Global/story.asp?s=8396188). This also was not considered newsworthy.

Finally down the road in Ville Platte, KATC runs this story about another local hero pictured above (http://www.katc.com/Global/story.asp?S=8398522), also not newsworthy.

A letter to the editor condemning us all to eternal damnation was considered newsworthy.
